Brynn Carroll - Yin Yang II - Oil on Canvas - Diptych 26"x 72"
This exciting exhibition brings a seasoned painter to Chroma Gallery. Brynn Carroll moved to Huntsville Alabama from Northern California about a year ago and has been enamored with the sultry summer nights and slowed down pace of the southeast. Brynn was born in northern California and received her BA in fine arts from California State University of Sacramento. Shortly after graduating, Brynn became a full-time artist and has been painting for over twenty years. Her work has won numerous awards and is widely collected. In these new works, Brynn has captured exquisite moments in time or "snap-shots" of her environment. She continues to be fascinated by the way light plays on water and floods over objects in its path. She often works with large scale formats in either oil or watercolor yet gives herself the freedom to explore other mediums and methodologies including sculpture. Brynn says of her work, "the meaning of color and shape make a more definite statement than words." We are please to introduce you to Brynn Carroll's water lily series along with her other new works created especially for this exhibition.
